These terms cover how you use seecontainerpro.com, and how quotations and orders work when you buy shipping containers from SeeContainerPro. Please read them before sending us an enquiry.

If anything here is unclear, ask us before you order. We would rather answer the question than have you assume.

1. Who these terms are between

“We”, “us” and “SeeContainerPro” mean the business operating this website at seecontainerpro.com. “You” means the person or organisation using the site or asking us for a quotation.

By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. What this website is

This website is an information and enquiry service. It describes the ranges of shipping containers we supply and lets you send us a quotation request.

Nothing on this website is an offer to sell. Container descriptions, range pages and article content are there to help you work out what you need. They are not a contractual specification, and they do not commit us to supplying any particular container.

We do not currently sell or take payment through this website. Every order starts with a written quotation.

3. Quotations

When you send us a quotation request, we may come back with questions before quoting. That is normal — specifying a container properly usually needs a little back and forth.

A quotation we send you:

• Is based on the information you gave us. If that information changes, the quotation may change with it.
• Is valid for the period stated on it. If no period is stated, treat it as valid for 30 days.
• Is not a contract on its own. A contract is formed only when we confirm your order in writing.
• May be withdrawn or revised at any point before we confirm the order.

Prices quoted are exclusive of taxes and duties unless the quotation says otherwise. Delivery is quoted with the container rather than as a flat rate, because it depends on destination, access and quantity.

4. Orders

An order is accepted only when we confirm it to you in writing. At that point the contract between us is made up of our written confirmation, the quotation it refers to, and these terms.

If anything in a written quotation or order confirmation conflicts with these terms, the quotation or confirmation wins for that order.

We may decline an order. If we do, we will tell you and refund anything you have paid for it.

5. Specification and condition

Shipping containers are industrial products. Unless a quotation says otherwise:

• Containers are supplied to the specification set out in the quotation, not to the general descriptions on this website.
• Photographs on this website are illustrative. The container you receive will not be identical to a photograph.
• Used and refurbished units will show cosmetic wear — surface marks, dents, repairs and paint variation are normal and are not defects.
• Any modification work is carried out to the scope agreed in writing. Work not listed in that scope is not included.

If the specification matters to your project, get it written into the quotation before you order.

6. Delivery and site access

We coordinate delivery as part of the order. Delivery dates we give are estimates made in good faith, not guarantees, and we are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.

Getting the site ready is your responsibility. Before delivery you need to make sure that:

• A delivery vehicle can reach the drop point, and there is room to turn and offload.
• The ground is level, firm enough to take the container, and will stay that way.
• The offload area is clear on the day, and someone is there to take the delivery.
• Any permissions, permits or site inductions are in place.
• You have told us about anything tight or unusual about the access.

If a delivery cannot be completed because the site is not ready, or because access was not as described, we may charge you the cost of the wasted journey and of rearranging delivery.

Risk in the container passes to you on delivery. Where a quotation provides for payment before or on delivery, ownership passes to us only once we have received payment in full.

7. Payment

Payment terms are set out in the quotation or order confirmation. Unless stated otherwise, payment is due before delivery.

We may suspend delivery or further work on an order while any sum due to us is overdue.

8. Cancellations and changes

Tell us as early as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. We will always try to accommodate a change.

Where we have already incurred costs — for example on modification work, materials or booked transport — those costs may be payable. Modified and custom-built containers are made to your specification and generally cannot be cancelled once work has started.

9. Using the container safely

Once a container is delivered, how it is sited, secured, loaded, occupied, modified and maintained is your responsibility. You are responsible for any consents, planning permission, building control, insurance or safety requirements that apply to how you use it.

We are not responsible for loss or damage arising from how a container is sited or used after delivery.

10. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.

Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows:

• We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of contracts, loss of anticipated savings, or any indirect or consequential loss.
• Our total liability in connection with an order will not exceed the price paid for that order.
• We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control.

11. Using this website

You may use this website for your own business or personal purposes and to enquire about containers. You may not:

• Copy, republish or resell content from the site without our permission.
• Harvest email addresses or other data from the site.
• Submit false enquiries, spam, or anything unlawful, abusive or misleading.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or interfere with how it runs.

The content, text, images and design of this website belong to us or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright.

We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every description is complete and current. We may change or remove content at any time.

12. Comments and submissions

If you leave a comment on an article, keep it civil and relevant. We may edit or remove comments, and we may close comments, at our discretion.

13. Your personal information

How we handle the information you send us is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you send an enquiry is the version that applies to it. The date below shows when this page last changed.
